Founded in 2000 Imagination Lab Foundation is a Swiss-based, independent and non-profit research foundation. Its purpose is to support scholarship that complements traditional management and organization theories with ideas grounded in the arts and sciences, especially those of imagination and play.

Under the leadership of Professor Johan Roos, until 2006 the Foundation was actively contributing cross-disciplinary and innovative management ideas of the highest scientific quality by means of theoretical and empirical research with a team of scholars in residence.

From 2007 the Foundation acts as a virtual fund that supports research elsewhere through the annual Imagination Lab Award for Innovative Scholarship in collaboration with European Academy of Management (EURAM). For all information about the Imagination Lab Foundation Award, click here .
