Founded in 2000 Imagination Lab Foundation is a Swiss-based,
independent and non-profit research foundation. Its purpose is to
support scholarship that complements traditional management and
organization theories with ideas grounded in the arts and sciences,
especially those of imagination and play.
Under the leadership of
Professor Johan Roos, until 2006 the Foundation was actively
contributing cross-disciplinary and innovative management ideas of the
highest scientific quality by means of theoretical and empirical
research with a team of scholars in residence.
From 2007 the Foundation
acts as a virtual fund that supports research elsewhere through the
annual Imagination Lab Award for Innovative Scholarship in
collaboration with European Academy of Management (EURAM). For all
